From here we’ll walk through the streets of Évora towards one of the most important Portuguese Cathedrals and a prime example of Romanic/gothic architecture.
Right next to it we’ll admire the well preserved 2000-year-old temple of Diana and learn about the importance of the city for the Roman Empire.
After tasting the amazing gastronomy of the region, we’ll leave Évora for a 40-minute scenic drive through vast olive oil plantations and famous Portuguese vineyards towards Monsaraz – a tiny medieval hill-top town on the Portuguese/Spanish border overlooking the countryside and the biggest artificial lake in Europe. From Monsaraz we’ll drive you directly back to your Hotel/AirBnB or another place of your choice.
