We had an incredible day with Gui (Antonio’s employee and friend, who is also from Sintra). It was fantastic!! He picked us up in Lisbon and we spent the entire day going everywhere, starting in Sintra and seeing everything we could see there, running all over the coast, not missing a thing, walking/hiking a lot, and eating at a local/non tourist place. Gui was so kind, charming, down to earth, knowledgeable about Sintra and neighboring areas, and the history, but never boring, and making sure we were comfortable, and doing and seeing what we wanted to do and see. It was a totally relaxing and fun filled day. We were joined by another traveler, who was also wonderful. I really really recommend this experience with Antonio’s team!!
The highlight of our mother/daughter trip to Portugal.
We had the pleasure of having Antonio all to ourselves for this tour and we were very fortunate to meet him! Not only is he a native to Sintra and can tell you the most riveting stories about its palaces and history and mysteries; but he is also extremely personable and friendly and was a joy to get to know during this full day trip. Antonio picked us up right at our Airbnb which was super convenient and unique in an experience like this. Then he took us to all the must see spots in Sintra. The initiation Wells, Pena palace, and much more. He even made an extra stop at a grocery store for us to pick up some of the local Porto wine! He is a quintessential history buff and will share stories that you will not hear elsewhere. He also knows when the crowds start dying down so you can get the best out of each site. He’s got access to cut the lines as a tour guide as well! I couldn’t say enough about how we thoroughly enjoyed our day with Antonio in his hometown of Sintra. You would be remiss if you didn’t experience it for yourself.

Guilherme provided us with a wonderful tour of Sintra and the local attractions. (Palaces, castles, coastline, lunch on the beach and viewpoints). He was knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful, concerned about our satisfaction with the tour.

Anyone who comes to Portugal should take time out to go on this trip it really was magical we got picked up outside our apartment at 9.10 and didn’t return until well after 6 so a full day siteseeing and listening to Antonio telling us about the history was just the icing on the cake -loved every second of the day thank you.

Thank you Antonio and Jose for a fabulous day at Sintra. We were extremely happy with the organisation of our tour by Jose, very prompt reply to our enquiry and arrangements that fitted our requirements. Antonio, his brother, picked us up from our hotel in Lisbon and took us to Sintra for a tour of all the key sights, recommending which ones to see quickly and which ones to explore further. We were on a tight schedule as we were squeezing the tour in before our flights back to Australia. Antonio quickly worked out our interests and tailored the tour accordingly. Being a local who grew up in Sintra, Antonio was able to give us a lot of information on the each of the sights as well as the history of Portugal.
